Basement Wall Repair
Causes:
High water tables put additional pressures on foundation walls causing leakage and structural failure.
Typical clay-based soils are susceptible to changes in moisture content. Wet conditions cause clay-based soils to expand and exert pressure on basement walls.
Hillside slippage, blasting or new construction can put additional pressures on foundation walls
Over time, many basement walls begin to fail and bow and/or lean inward. Once this occurs the wall will not return to its original position on its own and action must be taken to stop wall movement. If not stopped, or properly reinforced, the foundation could collapse. Engineered Foundation Solutions offers a range of basement wall repair products to allow us to handle each situation independently ensuring the proper solution is achieved for each individual project.
